The two student art show was a success, with 50-60 art show viewers on April 3rd from 5-8 p.m. put on by LCC students Matthew Long and Richard Moore. There was a good turn out, Long and Moore each had at least 30-40 pieces of art on display. Matt Long, 31, said " I was pleased by the turn out.
OPEN MIC NIGHTS: One Friday night of every month was dedicated to "Open Mic." Initiated by art instructor Doug Sheehy, the event featured any local talent with the courage to take the stage in the Cougar Corner. Entertainment ranged from musicians, to poetry, to Shakespeare.
The college recently granted me the permission to give LCC "A New Look." LCC was in need of promotional material for each of the department programs that offer a degree or certificate. I had been personally developing brochures for some of the various programs such as Graphic Design, Gunsmithing, and Fire Science, along with the LCC general brochure.

This is John The Journalist! He was adopted when the Journalism Club was sorting through donations for our Yard Sale. He may be a toilet paper cover, but has become our official mascot and, he can be a useful member of our staff (left). He posed all sexy time for his mug shot and our amusment (right).
Ashlee Evans sports her zombie getup May 9 at the ASB sponsored zombie walkathon. Participants gathered at the Lion and the Lamb where they put on their zombie makeup and sang karaoke. The approximately 20 participants then met at the LCC campus where they circulated the campus in costume to fundraise for student clubs.
Dear Drew, I've been with my girlfriend for about half a year. I really like her, but she's such a b***h. She whines and nags all the time. I really like her and I want to be with her forever, but I can't stand being around her. She's so pretty and smart, but she's critical and mean and selfish.
